Performing and/or attending a traditional ticketed choral concert is a wonderful experience, but for many members of our community with mobility challenges, it is not a viable option. Accordingly, many community choirs travel to places such as senior centers or assisted living houses and perform directly at residences, bringing the choral music experience to folks who would otherwise be unable to hear a performance.

One such choir is the Real Life Ministries Creative Arts community choir, which meets in Post Falls on Sunday evenings:

Sundays: 6:30 pm in Room 301 @ Real Life Post Falls campus
Anyone can join at any time

From their website: "The RLM Adult choir meets weekly on Sundays at 6:30PM.  Our goal is to come together and use the gifts God has given us.  This is a time of singing, and prayer in preparation for serving our community in singing at various community locations.  Come sing with us!

The selection of music is praise songs, spirituals, traditional American folk songs, hymns, and the like, with the 2025 performance set including pieces such as Down to the River to Pray, I'll Fly Away, Shut De Do', and the famous Peter Lutkin arrangement of the benediction The Lord Bless You and Keep You. Of course, Christmas carols for the holiday season and patriotic songs for June/July are also on the schedule. The choir is SATB and performs almost always a capella.

Interested Chorale members can speak with Iain Fisher at rehearsals for more info.
