Dear Chorale!


Hello to those of you who are joining us this semester! We are so excited to see you on Friday, August 23 to kick off our 2024/2025 Season! Dr. Chism will be in town with us for a two-day retreat, and we are going to dive into our music together. It's going to be wonderful!

We are popping into your inbox to provide you with some logistical information about registration and the retreat. 

Registration opens (8/23) at 5:00PM and we will start singing at 6PM on the dot! Please plan to arrive in plenty of time to register, pay your dues, and pick up your music. 

To expedite the process, we highly recommend filling out this form here: https://forms.gle/ZJ4BSz7GzuWtCUfJ7 so we have all of your information ahead of time, and the line will move quickly. If it’s been over a year since you last sang with us, you may need to re-audition. A section leader will reach out to you if so. 

Dues are $65 for the semester, and we are able to take cash, check, and card. 

Bring:
- Your previous name tag (if you can find it)
- Water
- A smile

We recommend bringing a binder with you, as we will be giving you a thick packet of printed music (no octovos). You may request a digital packet as well! 

We will rehearse 6-9PM on Friday night, and reconvene Saturday morning, 9AM-12PM rehearsal with a potluck lunch after!

For the potluck lunch on Saturday, please bring the following based on your LAST name:
A-H -SALAD
I-Q - MAIN DISH
R-Z - SIDE OR DESSERT


These two mandatory retreat rehearsals are a big chunk of the time we will have with Dr. Chism in-person, so let's make the most of it by preparing to be punctual, ready to listen and learn. We'll be ready to start regular rehearsals August 27th.
